Plan ahead and engage young children in festive learning with a set of 60 colourful Christmas-themed cards, each featuring themes such as Christmas animals, clothes, and seasonal sights, sounds, and smells. These cards, bordered in green or red and featuring dotted outlines for cutting, are versatile tools for a variety of activities. Children can cut out the shapes to create personalized Christmas cards, gift tags, or festive displays or card games. Matching games can be played with duplicate cards, enhancing memory and recognition skills. Sort the cards by sensory categories to discuss and explore what they see, hear, smell, or touch during the holiday season. The cards can also be used to create themed classroom displays or as prompts for storytelling and discussions about personal Christmas experiences. Introducing a resource for EYFS and KS1 children to explore emotions and self-expression! This set includes four colour sheets, each featuring six unique faces made from simple circle shapes. Faces displays different facial expressions, hairstyles, hair colours, and head wear. The different faces encourage speaking and listening and the use of descriptive vocabulary. In addition to the colour sheets, a blank template is provided with six empty circles for children to design their own faces. They can select their favourite face / character that they have made and then create a personalized portrait-sized face using paint, collage, or other art materials. For added fun, the faces can be duplicated and cut out to create interactive games. Use them for a matching game where children pair the same faces or those with similar expressions, or play a bingo game where they match faces on their bingo cards with those drawn from a pool.
